My cat is 1 year and 2 months old. He just had crystals in his urine. The vet gave him pain med and antibiotics. Then i went to a check up, another urinalysis. He does not have no more crystals but still has blood in his urine. They gave him more pain med and another antibiotic. Is it ok to give a consecutive antibiotic meds to a cat? and will he get better? The vet mentioned at the next visit if he still has blood in his urine they are going to do a culture on it. Shouldn’t they have done that the second time? thank you

please read all my posts concerning my recent experience with my cat and FLUTD and struvite crystals. There are two different types of crystals a cat can have. For my cat’s condition increasing water consumption and eliminating dry food is what will help mine Also the vet prescribed UR canned food.
