I’m a CVT and have a 14 month old lab that has experienced bloat 2-3 times daily for the past 7 months. He has been scoped twice, had a barium series twice, had an ultrasound, and been to Tufts. He has been on a variety of foods from hydrolyzed (Z/D), to his current – a straight turkey diet. He’s been treated for helicobacter twice, and been on autoimmune doses of pred for IBD with no positive effect. Simethicone does nothing to reduce the severity of the bloat. The maldigestion panel is pending. From many Dr.s the same response – “an unusual presentation”. A big note – there is NO diarrhea or vomitting.
Have you ever seen anything like this before, or have any ideas?

Yes. At this stage it is a functional (vs. structural) disease which is hard to pin down diagnostically (as you have seen).

In such a young dog homeopathy can help tremendously as long as he still has the vital energy to heal.

I strongly recommend consulting a trained veterinary homeopathy expert.
