About a month ago my 6 year old cat had a blocked bladder. After going to the vet and then the emergency vet and back to the vet, it was decided he
needed surgery. Before the surgery, my cat’s eyes were fine. When I
brought him home, his pupils were very dialated. When I took him back to the
vet to get his stitches out, they told me he was going blind. I can’t believe
that something didn’t happen during surgery that they aren’t telling me about.
Can loss of oxygen have happened? If anyone knows anything about this,
or has any suggestions, please let me know. I am heartbroken.
