for the last three years my yorkie has been treated for inflammatory bowel disease. when first diagnosed she was gravely ill with low protein levels, ascites. with a combination of several drugs, steriods, and azaprithine things slowly improved..then were white blood count dropped from the aZaprathine and she was then put on enapril, and budnesinide, after a year on budnesidne, things again are slowly getting worse…she is having more bouts of diaherra and that is being treated with metronazal. she is due for her 4 month check up at cornell this month..just wondered what other ways to treat her might be….heard something about a dr out west who thought many of these problems are estrogen related
