our 1 1/2 yr. old german shephard “PearlAnn” has pancerate insuffincey (EPI). we found out a few monthes ago,we have done alot of reading on this subject and every site has almost the same opions. it’s costing$$ us alot of money to just feed her! ive been reading about feeding her cow or pig pancreas, which one is better? we can buy it all the time where we live so thats not a problem. another thing is she has only had 1 heat cycle and that was in july2007. could this be because of the EPI? should we have some more test done? we plan to have her fixed anyways. please any and all info would be great! or if there is anyone out there that has a german shephard with the same problem,we are new to this! thank you, Robin
