Hi, I have a Australian Shepherd female, about 1.5 yrs of age and she
is choking quite a bit. She doesn’t have a problem playing, eating
etc. She seems to choke for no reason. I have also noticed that she
breathes hard some times for no reason. Anyone got any thoughts prior
to me taking her to our vet???

    Hi Buffy…

Not sure what it is….I use to have a rat terrier that did that all the time and now I have a chihuahua and he also chokes / coughs when he gets excited.

I asked the vet about it but she didn’t seemed concerned.

Did you take your pup to the vet?
