My 17 year old male cat has been itching near his tail area.
Our conventional vet has found ‘hair clasping mites’ (lynxacarus radovsky).
and believes the only treatment is Frontline or Revolution.
He has kidney insufficiency, and has had for over 2 years, so the pesticides are as a last resort for him.
We did try bathing him last night with Natural Animal Cat Shampoo to provide him some relief while we research our treatment options, but there is no improvement. Do you have any better suggestions for treatment of this mite?
