I recently adopted two puppies from a rescue shelter. One of them is only 4 months old and previously abused. When I'm home she will not go near my husband and barks when he comes home from work. Sometimes she'll start to go to him and then runaway. I went out of town this past week for eight days and the entire time I was gone she acted like his best friend and was all over him and now that I'm home she won't go near him again. Can anyone give me an insight to this behaviour we're both very confused?
