6 year old Striped Cat needs loving home.
History
My mother found this cat about 2 years ago in the backyard and my mother started feeding him outside. She then allowed him to come in her home and has been an indoor cat since. She named him Garfield. She took him to the Vets to have him fully checked out. The doctor determined that he must of belonged to someone and either abandoned him or he ran away. He was already neutered and no illness. His age was around 4 years old.
Present
My mother is going to be moving to a smaller apartment soon and she is unable to take Garfield with her and he needs a very loving home. He is one of the most lovable cats and loves to cuddle. He has had all his shots and just had flea/tick Advantage drops put on him.
There is one thing to note about Garfield. He is around 6+ years old so he is definately not a kitten. He is also very fat and loves to eat. My mother had a very hard time watching what he eats to help him loose weight but he finds his way to the dogs dry food and likes to sneak bites from the 2nd cat. To whoever takes Garfield will have to watch what he eats and help him loose weight. He is not an active cat and will sleep most of the day but does love to snuggle and give lots of love. Garfield needs to find a home very soon. He is such a wonderful cat and deserves to be happy in a new home.
