If you identify an animal that you are able to help, please log on to our online at risk website immediately (YOU MUST REQUEST THE ANIMAL BEFORE 6AM EST). Please make sure to have your P# and password handy and to always request or print your receipt. Also, please forward your receipt to the New Hope staff where the animal is located.

The animal will be placed on New Hope Hold for your organization. You must confirm the placement within 24 hours and provide transport or pick up information within 48 hours. If we do not receive this information within 48 hours, the hold will be released and the animal could be put back on the At Risk List

Sam A0939820 – 1 yr. male Mastiff mix, stray: 75 pounds - URI
Sam was excited during some of the handling items, but had soft body language. He was very excitable while playing tag, but remained playful and soft in body. Sam proved a bit difficult to push out of the food bowl, but had soft body language. He took the toy away with soft body language, but displayed no interest in the rawhide item. Sam rushed in quickly during the dog-dog test, but showed no aggression.
Bard A0869046 – 2 yr. neutered Mastiff, OS: 94 pounds/Animal ID#s-0940346 & 0869046 came in together, friendly around other dogs, strangers, and children, walks calmly on the leash and was sociable toward the handler during the assessment. He was calm and relaxed during handling and when playing tag with assessor.
