Jimi has really finally stopped inappropriately urinating. We were never sure if it was the addition of the litter box on the main floor which he uses very infrequently, or the addition of the very tall scratching post which influenced him to stop - but he hasn't had a problem since we last communicated. :)
Unfortunately, however, we are again in search of a home for both of them. My husband lost his job and we are going to have to leave here and move in with my parents down in FL. We are in need of homes for the most placeable of our pets. If you remember we have the two siamese - jimi and gabe. We need to find homes for Jimi and Gabe. We are going to keep the great dane, she is 9 and has a fragile digestive and immune system - I do not think she can be placed elsewhere.
They are both talkative, affectionate, beautiful animals. They are 1/2 brothers and while they are more attached to each other than they are any one person - they constantly want to be pet. Jimi will often sit in your lap if you sit down at the computer. Gabe likes to walk up to people who are standing near him and head-butt them to encourage them to pet him. They tolerate the dogs, although, considering Jimi's history a cat-only home is probably best. They are great with well-behaved, gentle kids. I think they just need: 1) to be together 2)someone who love siamese 3)a couple of litter boxes 4)a great scratching post 5)food twice/day - and they will thrive and be happy, loving companions.
Please let me know your thoughts. Do you think I am overly optimistic or do you think we could find a good home for them quickly. We'd like to request a small adoption fee and donate the fee to the rescue involved in the placement.
Thank you once again for your help!!!
We need to act quickly as we will need to leave the beginning of August.
