Rusty is a victim of domestic violence and had his jaw broken at only 4 months old.
Thanks to someone with a huge heart - He is safe now, but needs a new home ASAP. Rusty is currently located in Rogersville, TN. More details below. Also, Rusty’s foster mom could use some help paying for Rusty’s treatment to fix his broken jaw. She took on Rusty in order to save his life and make sure he suffered no more injuries. She works saving many dogs & cats in our area and sure could use some help to pay Rusty’s bill. Please help if you can – no amount is too small. Rusty is perhaps 14 or 16 week old golden/bassett (?) mix sweetie. had two puppy shots and just saw vet today who said his jaw is healing rapidly -- in top 1% of patients healing quickly after surgery. does not stop his eating at all. He needs a forever home. Temporary foster home could not keep. He gets along with dogs, cats and children!! slept in young daughter's bed. Pup had no vetting at all, was caught in a domestic dispute, is not going back to where he came from, no way. He is good with everyone and appears to be housebroken. Can't make it thru the night all the time, but is great in the house during the daytime. Wants to be where the action is! 4 months old. 20 lbs, doxie (mostly). He has a wire on his lower left jaw, that will need to be removed in 6 weeks. He will heal good as new.
