How Dr. Jeff and Homeopathy Work to Help Your Pet

A great place to start the discussion of this ultimate healing modality (IMHO) is to understand its' basis.

The homeopathic medical model looks at disease as a disequilibrium of the energetic balance within the body (Vital Force, Qi, Prana, whatever you want to call it).

Unfortunately current medical science has not yet been able to quantitate this energy which helps all physiological processes run smoothly (and which is the difference between a living organism and a dead yet "healthy" one, i.e. one where there is no identifiable cause of death).

There are many similar forces in the universe which we know to exist (by observation) but which we can't really "see". For example we know that gravity or friction exist but what exactly are they (we can describe their effects but not what they are)?

Quantum physics on the other hand has dealt with (and explained) forces of this type for years. I *highly* recommend that anyone with interest in this topic read "Quantum Healing" or "The Field".

Anyway, I could go on and on (and usually do <g>) but that's not the purpose of this folder.

Good morning-

There are many energy healing modalities that seem to help. My own initial experience with Quantum Healing was when a Reiki Master healed my painful carpal tunnel.

All of these modalities work on the energetic (Quantum) level. Unfortunately they often only temporarily "retune" the internal imbalance which is causing the symptoms (without considering the entire picture of the patient). That's because they work on a more superficial (albeit deeper than drug) level. I experienced this when my wrist troubles came back soon after their resolution.

Homeopathy on the other hand, takes the totality of the imbalance into consideration. It therefore works on a much deeper level and can cure permanently.

It's important to recognize that only by treating the totality of the individual can deep healing result. This can NOT be done with machines, combination homeopathic remedies (which are NOT homeopathic to the indivdual, but that's another story) or virtually any other modality (one exception is *true* Traditional Chinese Medicine).

So I guess what I'm saying in my wordy way is that although the machines, or Reiki, or... can help, I would find a well-trained homeopath for the ultimate in preventative care.

I would love to help Bally. Although I always favor examining my patients I work with clients all over (and outside of) the US so in office consultations are not always feasible.

One of the beauties of homeopathic treatment is that it can be done *very* well over the phone. Basically I become a member of your health care team via phone consultation and private e-mail (this board is more for general info).

You will need a local vet for examinations, diagnostic testing (if and when necessary) and emergencies. I will consult with you about how to help therapeutically (basically what to do with the info we obtain).

That being said, my practice is about 1 hour east of New York City. I usually advise an initial phone consultation before you make the drive up.
