Bio-C (vitamin C)

BIO-C is a palatable, easy-to-administer powdered source of supplemental vitamin C (sodium ascorbate) combined with bioflavonoids. Sodium ascorbate has a saltier, less sour taste than ascorbic acid and is naturally buffered thus reducing gastric distress commonly associated with high-dose ascorbic acid.

Vitamin C is considered the most important water-soluble antioxidant in the body. Lemon bioflavonoids have been shown to promote capillary maintenance and repair, and to increase absorption and utilization of vitamin C.

CAUTION: Sodium ascorbate, if given in excess, may temporarily cause loose stool in some cases. If this occurs, reduce dosage.

One Scoop Contains: Vitamin C 500 mg Lemon Bioflavonoids (24% flavonones) 20 mg.

Recommended Usage: 1/2 scoop per 10 lbs. Body weight twice daily. Powder can be sprinkled directly on food. Please consult with your veterinarian regarding your pet's individual dosing schedule.
