Glands are organs that secrete substances which produce a physiological response. Endocrine glands secrete hormones such as insulin and estrogen. The endocrine system is involved in all facets of the body's metabolism. Raw glandulars are tissue concentrates from animal glands and organs. They contain many nutrients including enzymes, fatty acids, lipoproteins and protomorphogens.

Protomorphogens are compounds found within the center (nucleus) of all cells. Nuclear components are frequently targeted in autoimmune diseases. By taking protomorphogens, the harmful antibodies can "attack" them instead of the animal's own tissue. By distracting the immune response, the gland or organ is given time to heal. Use glandulars from antibiotic and hormone-free animals which are processed at low temperatures.
