Hi All,
TAILS is having a Tag Sale Saturday, August 4th (10-4) and Sunday, August 5th (10-3).
The Goodwill has kindly donated their, now unused, building so we have an in-your-face location (1572 Post Road East in Westport). Having a store front is great as we can accept donations right there on the spot - no need for traveling to pick up items.
In addition to selling items, we will have a professional masseuse offering his service for $1 a minute.
We would also be showcasing our kittens, cat and possibly a sweet little senior pooch that are up for adoption (if they're willing). No adoptions will be finalized these days - only applications received. Go to www.petfinder.org and look up TAILS, Westport CT for bios and pics of these pets looking for homes.
We need help on drop-off evenings and even at the tag sale itself. For the following drop-off days/hours, we'd only need 2-5 people to greet the donors, take their contact information for donation receipts and move lightweight items for display - easy.
Here are the drop off dates and times:
Monday, July 30th, 6-8:30 pm
Tuesday, July 31st, 6-8:30 pm
Wednesday, Aug. 1, 6-8:30 pm
Thursday, Aug. 2, 6-8:30pm
Friday, Aug. 3rd, 11am-7:30 pm (any part of the day you can make it)
Needed help on Tag Sale days are:
Saturday, Aug. 4, 9am-7 pm
Sunday Aug. 5, 10 am-6:30 pm
You don't have to work the entire day - whatever hours you can volunteer are appreciated.
Sunday clean-up should be pretty easy as any item not sold will be donated to the Goodwill up the street.
Can't make it any of these days? DONATE YOUR CRAP...ummm...ITEMS TO SELL.
