Our beloved Golden Retriever, Rufus, started having nose bleeds in May 2008.  Following an MRI we received a diagnosis of an aggressive nasal tumor. 

Our house is filled with so much sadness right now. Our poor dogs, they just don’t know what to do.

For a while I managed a cat rescue and adoption center a few days a week. That’s where I met Madonna, a fluffy gray and white feline with big gold eyes and a chip on her shoulder.
